I went on my first date recently. Which made me think of talk show hosts, and gave me a deeper appreciation for what they do. They essentially go on like 300 first dates a year. Meeting someone for the first time. Trying to make interesting conversation. Trying to connect & have charisma.

Whilst MILLIONS of folks watch!!

Pros & Cons of being a talk show host.

pro: get good at dating if you’re single.
con: most are not single.

pro: can talk to anyone at a party.
con: most of the parties you go to are probably work-related, mandatory appearances; where you can’t be yourself.
