I saw this at celeboganda, and thought it was really interesting. I’ve always wondered about the way I talk, and how it can be classified. Mainly cause English is really my 2nd language.
So, here’s mine:

5% Midwestern |
0% Upper Midwestern |
I don’t know where the 5% dixie came from. I think it’s b/c I pronounce aunt the right way (not like “ant”). It’s anyone’s guess though. Go do yours. I can’t wait for someone from PA to do it.

I don’t think this would apply to me at all seeing as I am Canadian….eh.
Actually, it is perfectly appropriate for aunt to be pronounced either way, with evidence from Merriam-Webster OnLine (http://www.m-w.com/dictionary/aunt).
